I place in your hands
The keys to the sun
Will you embrace its rays?
Or lock it away in the darkness.

I place in your hands
The keys to the stars
Allow them to shine
Or let them fall from grace.

I place in your hands
The keys to the moon
It's sight brings bliss
But in your eyes, it stays distant.

So distant
So far away
These things you can't touch
But long to control.
For if I gave these keys
To you, one who swears to understand
What Love, Compassion, Emotions mean
Will you know what to do with these which go untouched
As well as you would the Sun, Moon, and Stars?
