At age one, we try to sit up.
When we’re five, we tend to mess up.
At age ten, we just cut up.
Then at fifteen, we think we’re grown up.
At twenty, we long to hook up.
At twenty-five, we may break up.
At thirty, with kids, we just clean up.
At thirty-five, and bills galore, we play catch up.

At forty-five, we wear more make up.

At sixty, we wear undergarments to hold up.
But at sixty-five, we want to back up.
At seventy, we try to warm up.
At seventy-five, we’re happy to show up.
When we’re eighty, our parts may slip up.
At eighty-five, our thoughts get mixed up.
At ninety, health problems pile up.
And at ninety-five, we try to sit up
