Gardens of the Heart N'er Die, Their Rosebuds Timeless Lie
Heart Garden

Gardens of heart n’er die,
Nor see a winter accursed,
Un-seasonal they lie,
Gladly to be dispersed.

Un-gathered rosebuds await,
Betwixt the silvered rye,
Amongst the earth-worn gate,
Found by yon gardener’s eye.

No rush to gather rosebuds,
Ageless potpourri are they,
In wait to be uplifted some,
And gathered as they may.

Immortal unfurled petals,
Ageless in fragrant embalm,
To teach the mind and hearts,
In ageless planted calm.

Farewell, farewell to thee,
Giving all trespassers pardon,
Patient and eternal thou await,
Visitors to thy heart garden.

Gardeners ever returning,
Await for to be unfurled,
Their own hearts as petals,
Like the rosebuds in thy world.
