blessed with a face which makes you wonder!

I did not think for a moment

that you will talk about me in your life time



Leonardo saw me and took me

in to his home, to paint me.

paint me and named me ' Mona Lisa '

' what a masterpiece!' - I heard some whisper.



my face went on display at so many places

every one admired it

and finally to the country I love

to France where I rest now.



now I am on the 'net'

there are a million things about me on the net

' the most famous painting in the world '

' woman, whose expression is so enigmatic...!'



people wrote about me in thousands

in poems, in stories and in movies, too!

In every art gallery, I am the dai ichi
