A description of a broken romance as I saw it....

An Epic Tale
There is a Girl, kind, sweet and loving.

She meets a Boy, and falls in love.

And then-

A  Curse is set upon her,

self inflicted by a broken heart.

She is left alone, dressed in a cloak of Drama,

wielding a sword of Anger and a sheild-

of Despair.

The Curse covers her,

wraps her with misfortune and sadness.

Another Boy, another broken heart,

Escape- with her sword of Anger.

The Girl dares to love, just one more time,

meeting a Knight in shining, yet tainted armor.

He is her everything.

And then-

the cloak of Drama wraps tightly around her neck,

a single, damning incident.

She is left,

alone,

her Knight, sealed in a void,

far beyond her reach.

Sealed within a void,

filled with rumors and unconfirmed lies.

Two desperate months,

the Girl searches vainly for her Knight.

Then the Knight-from his distant prison-

ends her last simple hope.  Her weapons cast aside,

her personality torn apart,

she is left, unfeeling,

wrapped in her cloak of Drama.

Then, an order from the Elders,

seals the Door to her Knight's prison.

And she is, alone.

However, all isn't lost.

The Girl begins to understand-

to understand how to break her Curse.

She must find her own Light,

and cast aside her last anchor to darkness-

the cloak of Drama.

Can she?  Only time will tell.
