Tears have Defeated

Oh! How I cannot stand the heartache of last nights pjamas.

To be with ones love of such an outstanding phonecall;

The uproar of strange faces & Mysterious Voices.

My head spun twice.

As I was tossing & Turning,

the murmouring of sounds through my head,

I pictured his face.



A distant memory!

The strings of my heart,

plucked like an untuned guitar.

The lump in my throat punched me hard,

and as I opened my mouth ...



Silence. The burn of salted water,

strum down my powdered cheek;

Defeated!
