A mimicry poem that i tried doing a while back to mimic E. A. Poes style

Would thy love me?
Will thy press your lips to mine,
And thus conjoin our glee
Be to me what sun is to life.
Bring vitality to my poor soul,
and wash away all the strife.
Thou art my lovebird,
So with me will you sing?
Preserving my spirit; love-cured.
Become my graceful dove.
Please be forever mine,
And live our lives in love
