Dragon of Despair

With a sudden impact my wings had been taken,          
my strength to fly broken,                              
powerless.                                        
Forsaken?                                                  
Blind and lost,                                                  
in black depths of sorrow.

All emotions betray me, my body is quaking,
my keen sight has shrouded,                    
darkness.

I plunge toward the ground.
