a poem about a couple on the beach where one might go too far
Beast against Beauty

It was sunset at the beach,
Just her and me,
Ready to go,
So I went, so I goed,
Up top, In position, In control,
I went in for a kiss on the lips,
Then on the neck,
And onto the chest,
My hand caressing the outline of her sculpted body,
I went lower, kissing the top of her clothed stomach,
My hands came down to her hips,
Lifting the shirt just enough for a kiss,
I moved back up for a kiss on the lips,
So did my hands, nice and soft,
I moved them behind her back and snap,
Their goes the bra.
I kissed the neck, waiting for any no's and regrets,
But nothing, no rejections, no one telling me not to go,
So I went on going,
I moved my hands back down again,
Hugging her curves, lifting the shirts just enough to kiss her body,
I went lower, kissing her at the hip,
My hand undoing the button,
I went up again, kissing her lips,
Soft and undemanding,
No no's, no regrets, no words to stop,
I kissed her neck, each kiss getting lower,
Kissing her stomach and down to her hips,
My hand moving with me, pulling down her pants,
Then back up, moving her shirt a little farther
This time I kissed her neck and then her lips,
I looked at her one last time,
Looking for no's and reason's to stop,
Still nothing, no words to tell me stop,
Just an small uneasy smile, but something wasn't right,
The way her eyes looked told me something different,
Like she's been through this too many times,
Trampled on, by guys who didn't care,
Countless no's, but nobody stopping,
I could plead innocents, telling her she never said no,
But it wasn't right,
Her body was beautiful and strong
But her soul was broken and weak,
Too many times has it been trampled on,
Too many times has no one stopped,
Everything told me to go,
To reach the finishing goal,
But something told me different,
Something told me not to go,
The finish doesn’t have be the goal,
My body tensed up, I was seizing control
Instinct against Heart,
Beast against Beauty,
Slowly and softly, I moved my hand behind her,
Snapping it back,
I kissed her stomach, and pulled her shirt over it,
I kissed her hip line for the last time,
Pulling her pants back into place,
I kissed her clothed stomach again,
Moving up to her neck and lips,
I looked her in the eyes, and something was different,
Something in her eyes glowed,
Like some how I had managed to put a small piece of her back together
She still had an uneasy smile, but she kissed me,
I rolled over on my back, and she rolled with me,
She was up top, in position, in control,
She laid her head across my chest,
Letting it rest, and I held her tight, never letting go.
