Why did he do it?

Okay, i was siting in my group today. And this guy know as "Fred" ( i will just use that name). Looks over at me and says, "Hey, you like that book that you are reading?" And i just look at him. I mean Fred and I are like enemies, but not mean enemies. But he is friends and was siting by the guy I like. So i didn't know what to say. I mean Fred never says anything to me. I am thinking either
A) he likes me
B) his friend asked him to ask me
C) he is just a annoying pain in the ass
or
D) he was doing it just to see the look on my face.

I just dont know what to think. I should have said, ";Oh, yah Fred it is great!"
But i didn't because Fred and my crush were looking at me.
Life is so confusing when is comes to BOYS!, i just dont get it. And my sister is no help, and i have no friends, to tell this about. And i dont want to tell it to my mom. Cause she will just say," i betcha he likes you".
That thought is just very weird, because Fred and I have not liked each other, but we are like enemies, but are not cruel to each other, we just dont like each other. I dont know why though.

Anyway i just needed to get that off my chest. I hope someone will listen to me, someday. But i could always be wrong.
