The Rain

Rain inspires me.
Rain washes my soul.
I sit and listen to the
drops on the roof
and find my inner self.
I watch the water
hit the ground and form
puddles like just a few
people for a cause turning
into millions

Sadly only a few of us listen
to the rain and hear what it really says.
a message of peace and serenity.
Rain can wash the pain away
it can rid you of saddness.
but most of all
Rain can wash your soul.
