It's Winter In My Heart

Creatures rejoice for it is spring
Birds build nests and start to sing
Flowers burst into glorious bloom
Filling the air with sweet purfume
Earth is bathed in the sun's warm rays
But in my heart the cold wind stays
For me, the rain of winter never recedes
As my broken heart eternally bleeds
I still endure winter's frost
Alone, mourning love lost
Every season remains the same
Freezing cold without love's flame
Ever since we had to part
It's been winter in my heart
