A poem about my lost love.......
"Love" is what they call it when they feel,
they say it's the potion for all pains to heal.
Many are gifted many are born blessed,
they get the one for whom they always pressed.
But a few keep hoping for the magic and live,
someday they'll defeat their fate they believe.

This one’s about the one who lit up my life,
the one who blessed and pleased my soul rife.

It began one evening on a Valentine's,
we're on a bus and she's on my side.

As the moon rises up and the milky way shows,
two hearts come together; they come so close.
And as the air fills up with frost galore,
they nestle and snuggle like never before.

We curl up and cuddle and each other we hold,
the passion's flowing like never foretold.
Soon the fire of our ardor lights up the dark,
the shimmer of the stars is fading away stark.

As our lips get locked in a passionate kiss,
nothing do I sense but an eternal bliss.
That's how something within me just came alive,
that which was dead for the days gone by.

Suddenly something's wrong something I can't explain,
whatever it is, it's driving me insane.
Wonder if this is the “love” they call it when they feel,
perhaps this is the potion for all pains to heal.

Now there are dates on weekends and our free times are away,
there are prayers that every weekday be a holiday.
Now every touch of her's sends a quiver down my spine,
and every movie's incomplete without her hand in mine.

Then one day she walks off, leaving me frozen in time,
that moment I feel Earth's stopped spinning; dead is the sunshine.

The nostalgia of days we spent eats me away,
How do I live when in you my soul lay?
The phone's stopped ringing, there are no messages at all,
how I long for those late night phone calls.

No love yous, no kisses, no chips in the same bite,
all that's there are those asked for hugs that just deepen my fright.

For you I crave now that you're afar,
You know I dream of you with my eyes ajar?
The feelings are there they just wont abate,
I fall for you more by the day instead.

Let me tell you something let me confess,
I love you more than the deepest abyss.
In your refuge are all sins forgiven.
Who needs Him when you're my heaven?

I've made you my Earth I've made you my sky,
nothing can make me this thing deny.
Tomorrow even if mine aren't the arms in which you lie,
my heart shall beat for you till the day I die.
And in every life for you my eyes will vie,
even if it means meeting for a moment--and bidding goodbye.
