Portable Johnathan


No matter how long you hold it
the inevitable will arrive.
Sitting in this boxed throne,
could be an early demise.

You may try to hover,
perhaps hold your breath.
peruse the walls at random,
to keep your mind off death.

When the throne lacks paper,
there are many things you can do.
What I find most efficient?
Use a sock to wipe your poo.

Of all my biggest worries,
the memory of it I do not lack.
Its not the horrid smell,
but the fear of splash-back.
