When life turned upside down,

I was fast asleep.

I woke up,

Into the darkness,

Into a changed world –

Changed for me, forever.



Every minute an hour,

With long trauma-riddled seconds

Ticking out for years

Towards the Truth.



Luck in unluck,

Relief amidst crisis,

Tired me out of wits.

Yet, the intrigue! The absurd hope

Rekindled my faith

To deceive me into Reality.



Knowing it was a dream,

With all roads leading to despair,

I waited for the day,

That you’d be the same,

Again.
