Revelation


She is the sleepless dreamer,
The spirit breathing truth
Challenging the mighty wind and
Prophesying raging flames

Night rests beneath her lullabies,
Her fire-tongued lilts raise downcast eyes,
She steps, lays hold the liberators
Breathes revival to the wayward.

She commands the paths of ancient fears
And realigns the moon,
Frosting whispers on the death-gates and
Calls to life the long-entombed.

She heals with touching brush the bound,
Restores the broken warrior,
Her sigh draws out the dry-bone kings and
Meets them in the rain.

She melts their disappointments' ties,
Imparting flesh and life to bones.
She joins their shoulders to the wind,
Sets Eden’s blazing army free
