To love means to put your whole heart into something great.
The days were long but the nights were the best. It allowed a person to sleep and dream of the wonders of the world, to imagine that all is well. Yet, for one girl it is dreadful to even imagine that society is as it is.
Growing up with no parents, Madeira lives with her aunt in a fine two-story house. She is treated well and school is even finer, but the feeling that something is missing will never leave her, the feeling that she could be someone. She is shot down by society when she attempts to design an amateur building, one to fit a need for everyone.
Yet when she finishes her building, she finds her friends and family standing before her scornfully.
Meeting a man, Madeira doeses one more daring act that stuns everyone and leaves her facing the mere image of herself.
