Written for the Pond Poetry |
Strolling hand in hand on the bridge, Kindled by our flames of passion, We move to our destination, To embrace the Eternal Love. As we walk on the Path of Love, Strolling hand in hand on the bridge, We want this road to never end, Our love to remain forever. Eyes meet and lips long for meeting, A frenzy of love befalls us. Strolling hand in hand on the bridge, We move towards our Utopia. Even Nature toasts to our love, With charming flowers blossoming. The Land of Love finally comes, Strolling hand in hand on the bridge. Form: Quatern Explanation of form: A Quatern is a sixteen line French form composed of four quatrains.
