The first poem I've written in a while.
Contempt for you.
Bound like glue.
I wish to explore.
To you, I emplore.

Sights to see.
But you hate me.
You keep me here.
What do you fear?

Secrets to learn.
Stones to turn.
You hide your truth.
I waste my youth.

Your henchmen, gravity.
Stuck in depravity.
I plan my escape.
From free will rape.

Nebulas to wander.
Enigmas to ponder.
The knowledge is there.
Stuck in this chair.

Deliverance from Earth?
Stuck since birth.
Your laws are unfair.
You don't even care.

I tried to flee.
But you caught me.
Dragging me back.
Through voids of black.

To the prison of Earth.
Spiritual stillbirth.
Broken, I wept.
My attempt inept.

But there is a way.
To frightening to say.
Time takes its toll.
Spawning nomadic soul.

I exist? What is this?
A new type of bliss.
No rules apply.
The ultimate high.

The shackles, broken.
New words spoken.
Flesh was an illusion.
Mind and body fusion.

The cosmos, my prey.
On astral highways.
Traversing the distance.
In awe of existence.

Physics bends to me.
And what did I see?
I wont break the rules.
For material fools.
