Much is decided by fate’s callous touch. (Form: Loop Poetry)
Realization

Dark clouds gather, stains upon heaven.
Heaven was a place reserved for you and I.

I sit in stasis, my thoughts floating free.
Free of concerns that collect like debris.

Debris like the shore's flotsam piles.
Piles of rancored memories.
Memories of love, unbidden, unwanted.
"Unwanted" echoes in my heart.

Heart shaped brilliance captures my eyes.
Eyes of a God that hears my silent cries.

Cries of denial of my loneliness.
Loneliness that festers in a dark abscess.

Abscess of spirit, ulcerated hope.
Hope that finds healing in light.
Light that illuminates truth.
Truth can fill empty hearts.

Hearts can survive when they understand.
Understand that not all things are planned.

Planned is a word not understood much.
Much is decided by fate's callous touch.

Form: Loop Poetry
Loop Poetry is a poetry form created by Hellon. There are no restrictions on the number of stanzas nor on the syllable count for each line. In each stanza, the last word of the first line becomes the first word of line two, last word of line 2 becomes the first word of line 3, last word of line 3 becomes the first word of line 4. This is followed for each stanza. The rhyme scheme is abcb although numerous variations are allowed.

I chose variation 3: Couplets mixed with 4 line stanzas, the last word, first word scheme is maintained in the stanzas. It can also be used in the couplets. Rhyme scheme is ab, cc, defg, hh, ii, jklm, nn, oo.

Thank you for taking time to read my words. I would appreciate it if you took a moment and left a comment. Your reaction, impressions, criticisms, - yes, even praise *Smile* - are all equally welcome.
