When one's spirit is caged & tormented, a dream of freedom and desire rages

Storm in me

A cloud with blackened gloom evokes the storm
Abyss of pain, complacent hate with in
The home of empty vows is choking me

To hear your voice, it galvanizes me
Gallant as thunder din resounds in storm
I covet you like billows rolling in

Serene before the white capped waves crash in
Like wind and rain of fury, rush with me
Enlivened dormant hope begets a storm

Arise and feel the raging storm in me
