Four Day Hell Period

This folder contains the poetry I wrote when a beautiful love affair turned into the worse nightmare a young woman could ever face. I wrote these one after the other in a four day period. It seems now, that the nightmare is over and all is well after all. But, it might not be. Everything is suspended in mid-air and it could fall in any which way. I do not regret what has happened, because it taught me life. I knew that in this world there are bad people. I always knew it in my head, but now I know it in my heart. Yet, even now that I know this, even after someone has chiseled away some small chip of my innocence, I refuse to come out bitter. I will never choose to be loveless.

I am not done writing yet. I may end up telling the whole story as it happened. But, in any case, I hope that when you read thee and gaze into my heart, you might be able to take something away from it. If life has you riding through terrors, then this will give you comfort, that you are not the only one whose heart breaks, whose soul aches, and who fears for life. This writing flows straight from my heart, but still, I would appreciate any comments or criticism with regards to the quality of writing.
