Rainbows and Yesterdays

Yesterdays come streaming in
after a brisk summer rain.
My soul has a rainbow within,
and I find my smile again.

Amazing how moods change
with breaking clouds.
Sadness and pity range
when haze the sun shrouds.

Smiles and love come around
when bright rays grace us.
I break into song, a joyous sound,
celebrating a great life thus.

Yesterdays and rainbows mix well
with the rain-on-grass smell.
