There is a love you can never gain.
You may try and try but you can't reach.
You want to touch, feel, get closer to them.
But they are too far to reach

You may cry, weep or dream about them
They will never be able to tell.
Your love may cross continents.
But it is never enough.

You want to hug, kiss, even "love" them.
Whatever you try, it won’t reach.
You learn you have to forget.
To forget lost love and keep it.

Keep to yourself, wishing to let it out.
They will never hear a sound.
Life goes on and time passes by.
But it kills you to keep it inside.
