And a rounded body

                            Not tall nor leggy
                            Blonde or Intelligent

So, Why me?

I am a quiet girl
With a quick smile
And a quicker temper


                            I am not a confident woman
                            Not well spoken nor calm
                            Easy to deal with or cheerful

Really, Why me?

I am a loyal girl
With fierce friendships
And just as fierce enemies

                            I am not an approachable woman
                            Not easy to converse with nor feel a kinship
                            Not comfortable to be around or feel at ease with

I daily doubt my friendships
My alliances and acquaintances
I do not accept unconditional love

                            I am not a woman of the world
                            Don’t have groups of friends and associates
                            Nor men at my door
