I was born today,
Innocent and pure
Looking to you with trust
Tell Me...... Do You Care?
I got my first tooth today
Took my first steps, I spoke my first word
I look to you for praise
Tell Me...... Do You Care?
It's my first day of school
I look to you for comfort
I reach out my hand, hoping to find yours
Tell Me...... Do You Care?
Im all grown up now, Did much of it on my own
The start of a new beginning
A career to tread upon
Tell Me...... Do you care?
You are gone now, you left without a word
An emptiness inside, unexplained....
forgiveness unheard
