Love's Sweet Repertoire

For years, I rummaged near and far
in search of wealth and fame--
such lonely years
among my peers
in search of wealth and fame!

Then Cupid’s arrow brought love’s flame
to melt the hard veneers
with your warm gaze
and charming ways
to melt the hard veneers.

It’s clear now, you’re the one who steers
to guide me through each phase.
I know you are
the only star
to guide me through each phase.

Our lives are bound through all our days
by love’s sweet repertoire.
We overcame
a dismal frame
by love’s sweet repertoire!
