This is a poem about how valuable mothers really are
It hurts, it burns, it tears apart,
This fragile, broken, little heart.
The pain tears and breaks out,
This baby only knows to shout.

He screams but no one hears,
This precious heart so full of fears.
What he knows is not so much,
He longs for his mothers touch.

The tears fall and hit the ground,
As this child aches to look around.
The pain that no one else can feel,
The pain that only mothers touch can heal.

Fathers try to stop the hurt and tears,
but only shares his deepest fears.
This baby knows it's not his mother
And does not smile for another.

Mother holds him just the right way,
She knows just what she should say.
He looks at his leg and begins to think,
"This will be a scar sure to shrink."

No one sees the sore just made,
As this baby sits in the shade.
Mother comes and holds him tight,
He put up quite a fight, FOR MOTHERS TOUCH
