A Letter to Self

For my inspiration, cause my heart is failing.
All you know is not a lie,
But a truth hidden within the truth.

Birth is followed by death,
This is true.

And you not governing yourself,
Is also true.

But between your birth
And death,
And lack of government...

Belongs a place to only you.
A path with a name,
Just for you.
A hand stretched out to lead you,
To freedom.

The life that is given to one who does not want it,
still cannot be taken away.

Between everything in the world,
There is a place just for you.

So for me,
This should also be true.

So please,
Help me find it.
