I trusted you,
I believed in you.
You let me down,
you caused my mouth to frown.
You see me now,
believe I'm gone for goo though,
I won't be coming back.

You've missed out on so much.
I was in pain, but you used me as your crutch.
Hush,
please, just shush.
I am tired of hearing your lies.
time after time, you are a player.
Nothing more.
And you don't even realize how you have hurt others.


I trusted you, to trust in me.
But you were never there, see.
I could watch you all day,
I could see the way you play.
But, you still don't know the first thing about me.
You don't know the wonder, or everything you've missed.
Because all I am to you,
is a stupid damsel in distress.

I trusted you, to be kind to me.
To be honest, and never so carefree.
You have failed in your quest.
You are so freekin' obsessed.
Why don't you quit, why didn't you listen?
You heard me once,
why must I tell you again.

I trusted you, but you failed to comply.
And here I sit, asking so many whys.
Why did you do that?
you knew what was in jeperdy.
But, you continue with your pleas,
tryin' to tell me your sorry.
All know it's not true, you've said this before.

I trusted you to care for me,
to protect me from harm,
to grow my charm.
Again, you failed to communicate,
you deny, you still debate.
How dense can one man be?
How long until I flee?

I trusted you to trust in me,
but it'll never work out, and so it shall be.
I'll leave you, if you leave me.
Don't say your sorry, just leave.
