Every 30 seconds an NBA player is fined. Everyday, 30 NBA players are unable to feed their families. Do you know how much it costs to make one size 24 shoe? It costs $217. That’s just for one shoe. Can you imagine two? Last year, LeBron James made over $100 million. Of that, $25,000 went to player fines, and another $75,000 for shoes. That leaves him only $99,900,000 dollars for personal luxuries. That is no where near enough. You may be scoffing right now at the idea of $99,900,000 not being enough to live on. You say to yourself, “I only make $50,000 a year and I’m doing just fine.” Well, do you have a multi-million dollar mansion to pay for? Do you have 13 Porsches, 11 Hummers, and 7 Mercedes-Benz to fill up with gas and pay insurance on? Chew on that, and then tell me if $99,900,000 is enough. The answer is, its not. So please, reach into your wallets, spare what you can. We’re not asking for a lot, just a couple million. Your favorite athletes are suffering. Won’t you help them?
