I live alone. I am married, but my husband lives in another town an hour away. My grown son lives with my husband. One daughter and her family live in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The other daughter and her family live in Hancock, Minnesota. I live here alone at Indian Lake Nazarene Camp in Vicksburg, Michigan.
During the summer there are people all over the place: in the RV area, the cottages, year-round residents, children and teens attending various summer camps, and people returning from their winter stay in Florida and warmer climes. Sounds depressing, right? Wrong! God is ever with me. He doesn't just come to me when I need Him, or whenever He might feel like it. He is always with me. He has filled that God-shaped missing piece in my soul. We have become as one. He has given me contentment. That contentment comes because He is there. He doesn't just send the contenment, He is the contentment!
