Take a walk with solitude and gain wisdom of old. |
Hello Solitude Hello solitude, here I am again. I have sought you out, you are my closest friend. Your stillness calls to me but noise rings in my head. Teach me to share my life with words that can’t be said. Whisper in my ear a silent prayer of old, that I will learn to feel your words within my soul. Hello solitude, come join me in my walk along the river banks to watch the water talk. The splashing on the rocks, it clears my cluttered brain. The rushing currents flow like blood throughout my veins. Whisper in my ear a silent song of old, that I will learn to feel your music in my soul. Hello solitude, please help me as I write the notes upon your staff, the words in black and white. Is this staff of yours the one from which you guide, cut from the tree of knowledge? Teach me more tonight. I’ll whisper in the wind a silent prayer of old. Will you teach me all the secrets that you hold? Whisper in my ear a silent prayer of old, and I will listen to the wisdom in your soul, Will they listen to the sacred words of old? I will share the wisdom you’ve brought to my soul.
