Inevitability is not to be avoided
While the horrid vision of us
Is more than awkwardly avid

Seek in the world
What’s yours
And leave alone
What’s not
Paint a picture with your words
And give it all you got

Everyone is falling to the same degree
As we all continue fighting
While clearly unable to see
That the distance in between us
Is far from normal average
Let them say, what they hear
Just don’t give them a chance in it

Watch them quiver in the cold
To the sound of their drums
Give them nothing to gain from
While you twiddle your thumbs
All they’re trying to tell you
Is you’re too weak and too young
Tell them speak here and now
Or forever hold your peace
