To my dead brothers and my sister- you will not come back to me, but I will come to you.
Three.
Three of you
As many of you gone
As we are here!
Where did you go
When you left,
Little stranger?
Away, I guess
To more peaceful realms.
Little sister, had you
No funeral? No stone
To mark your short life?
My little brothers
I knew not of you-
When I did you were
Already gone.
And oh, my mother,
Her grief!
And how I dream about you
If only you had come,
My sister and my brothers...
One day, though,
I shall know you--
Your names
No longer mystery to me!
I shall find you again
In another place
Where no pain is found....

Three.
Three of you...
