Little Things (Revised)

It's the little things in life that most of us need,
It's teching a child a good deed.
It's that boy who just passed his test,
And that teenage girl trying to look her best.
It's that baby lying in the crib at night,
Or that special someone we hold tight.
It's the A's on our report card,
And the prize we get when we work hard.
It's the comfort we want when we're alone,
Or that helpful friend over the phone.
It's the hug we get when we're sad,
And forgetting why we're even mad.
It's the pictures hanging on our walls,
Of us when we were small.
It's the little things in life that we often forget,
We need them,
We need every little bit.
