I wrote this as my cat sweetie pie was sitting on my lap
I have a cat sitting on my lap. Purring. She's a mischievous little thing, she loves to run and jump, and will find the highest , most unlikeliest places to survey the area around her. her name is sweetie pie, and it suits her well. Early in the morning, around 6 she will start jumping on the bed and on me. She demands that I get up and feed her and her sister Zoe. I have started playing with her, so when she jumps on me first, I let her, and wait until she makes her second run, then I grab her. I roll her over and tickle her belly, scratch her under the chin, then let her go. On the third run she avoids me and jumps off the end of the bed before I can catch her. about this time, zoe decides she better help in getting me out of bed and on to feeding them. She gets on the bed and puts her face as close to mine as possible and with her whiskers tickles my face and nose. I know they will continue to gang up on me until they get their way. That's when I get up and feed them. Oh, they are so happy!!!!

Such simple pleasures they enjoy. just to be fed, to be loved and petted, to have each other to chase and play with. No worries only blissful happy days. How I envy them.
