Late night frustration with how life's runs itself out.
John Mayer a'blaring,

candle light a'sharing.

My heart out on the page,

this Corona the only sage.

""Am I living it right?""

Why, Why, God Why?

Different lives, in different places,

Trying to avoid the hollow spaces.

Holes in my heart crying,

Dreaming of fulfillment, so worth dying.

But silence becomes my only friend,

As I listen, My empty wishes pretend.

Do my shadows have feelings?

As I wander, leering at the ceiling.

As I yearn for past echoes to recieve,

my regrets and all of my ""I am sorries""!

Will tomorrow ever come for the romantics?

Yes, but only after you give up the antics.

This world of today, love is a job.

Only to be found in Soap Opera heart throbs.

Always except what might come along,

Parent's pressure, oh sure settle, what's wrong?

And we wander why we are where we're at....

The Pantheon, are we really so far from that?
