Comatose

Tears and prayers to those who lay,

Unawakened day by day,

Their loved ones weep, their friends in shock.

Those poor unfortunate souls who befall such luck,

Stay in a dreamless, painless sleep.

But an air of peace those few seem to keep.

Days, weeks, months, and years,

Soon those souls will drown in love-filled tears.
