A very loosely formed pantoum that I wrote as a pseudo rewrite to "Poison"
The venom snaked through her veins,
A poison dark and menacing.
No more could life be regained;
Her fate much worse than imagining

Black toxin fading colors to shades of grey
Night descended upon her soul
Destiny afforded her no more time to stay
Those who murdered her were fools

Twilight covered her broken body
Pain haunted her till the end
Ones who bring death will follow in the rot
To the great beyond, her spirit send

Torment danced along her nerve endings
She lay upon the wet road
Her soul leapt out; her body bending
Her heart turned to bitter stone

Her body drapped upon the dirt filled path
Rain falling all around
Rock became her countenance
Skin so porcelain slowly dissolves to dust

The deluge poured aound her body
Poison seeping through the blood.
White skin rejoins the dirt
Dead, she lay alone in the mud.
