Ferris Wheel Ride

"As much fun as a cat and a string,
it's boring, can't make the cars swing."
Despite objections, we shuffled, inside.
"Great, a Ferris Wheel ride."

We had spent all day at a super mall,
shopping, eating, playing, having a ball.
Now Emily and I were sitting side by side,
"Great, a Ferris Wheel ride."

The bar came down snugly across our lap,
the music made Emily's fingers and toes tap.
Across the seat to me she started to slide,
"Great, a Ferris Wheel ride."

"As much fun as a cat and string!
Great, a Ferris Wheel ride!"
