Written as it would have thought to be sung.(^) Indicates an intensity with instrumentals.
Hey baby, you're drivin' me crazy,
we've gotten so lazy, I'm off of the road.
Down, down, downdowndown,
down here is where I go.

Hey baby, you're leaving me hangin',
around and around, where do I go?
Over and over, turnaroundturnaround,
(I) Turned over to see what you've done.

It's a mess here, baby, it's a mess that's been made,
a simple misfortune you'nd I have remade.
We've been here before, with the promise you made,
Come home to me, darlin', the night is at waste.

<^> And on I went to you, cryin' delight;
never would I see you terrorize me that night.
With your hands so cold, and your love feather-light,
your fists took over words and I cried for my might.

With every tear fallen, and blood dripping fight,
never would I've thought we could come to this sight;
with a knife and a gun, your hand closed on mine,
you crushed my dear heart and covered my line. <^>

I cried and I pleaded, in soft-chiming silence,
tonight was a night I'd not make it live.
Watching adrenaline overturn on your side;
(you) decided tonight was the night I (were) to die.

Set in my line, my back hit the wall,
I looked to the ceiling and questioned a God.
In such short notice, and no little time,
your hand had my shoulder, lips pressed against mine.
'Struggle- comforting' whispered my mind, as
my arms set loose, ignoring the crime.
I shut my eyes in the grace of relief,
suddenly tense, I felt urgent grief.

My eyes open wide to be filled with tears,
why do you always press at my fears.
I did not understand and yet (I) felt certain pains,
my eyes looked outside to be cast with heavy rain.

It was then that I noticed my boiling frame, and
a shot of anger and such little shame.
Your eyes locked with mine until your hand pulled away,
my vision went silly and I only saw grey.
Your mouth kept moving, I have no idea what you'd said,
I slid against the wall to land into a puddle of red.
