Coming out of Depression. Please review & comment
Took me awhile to come back from the edge.
I was close to the precipice, looking down into oblivion.
I dangled my feet and contemplated the jump.
So far down I could fall forever into the Blackness.
Sweet and dark solitude was promised below.

Walking away was the hardest thing; so promising was the relief.
I swear I could see myself far down the cliff face.
Battered, bruised and broken like always.
No longer afraid; the choice looked simple to make.

But, who am I to take away someone's Friend, Sister, Daughter......Mother?
Do my needs come before all others?
How could I saddle my love ones to all that pain and doubt.
Sometimes living is the hardest thing you will ever do.

So, here I am today. Living day by day.
Slowly working my way back from the darkness and into the light.
Maybe someday I'll be all right.
Untill then I'll fake it till I make it.................
Choosing Life.
