Hearts

A heart is nothing to mess with.
It's something very true.
To be handle by someone special,
and i believe that's you.

A heart is somewhat lazy,
not moving very much,
but when you hold my hand with yours,
it settles in your touch.

A heart can sometimes whimper,
from shadow, dark, and sin,
but when you're here beside me,
it sees the light again.

My heart was once abandoned,
left all alone to roam,
but now i know down deep inside,
It's finally found a home.
