this poem is about the phases of falling in love with someone special.
It flitted through my mind
Such risky behavior
Two hearts trying to meld into one
A good reason to wear sunglasses at night
It’s sunny all the time
No clouds in sight

It flitted through my heart
Pounding at a touch
Not distance but anticipation
Makes the heart grow fonder
Don’t wake me up
The disappointment would be too much

It flitted through my body
Shivers aren’t related to cold
But to the heat
The aroma of sweat is preferred
Over the sweet smell of flowers
Mind is gone yet I’m not crazy
Nights with you so lovely
The opposite of lazy
