a story of a man named Jason Walsh
“HOW DARE YOU!?!” Jason yelled. “I swear I am going to …” I woke up. “Ugh, what time is it?” I looked at the clock. 5:30 AM. I groan, I’ve had this dream many times over, but I never got past that. What did I swear? After the incident I blacked out. No memory of what happened after that. I’ve tried hard. I’ve been going to the best psychiatrist in the world, but no luck yet. All she says is to think back. But I do best when dreaming. I’m going to see her soon. Hopefully it will go over better this time, and not be a train wreck.

“Welcome Jason, please have a seat.” said Dr. Peterman. “I have a better idea this time, please lay down.” Well she’s the psychiatrist, what else was I supposed to do? So I listened, and lay down. “Good, now close your eyes and focus on what you do know about that day.” So I closed my eyes. Then it comes to me. I’m running down a hallway. Four doors are ahead, two on each wall and a window at the end. I’m being chased. It’s too late to turn back; I have no choice but to hide. So stop and listen carefully through each door. They are all occupied. I need to either risk running back, or jump out the window. So I open up the window and look down, five stories to the ground. But there is a balcony, three stories. So I risked it, and jumped out of the window. Turns out, the balcony door was open. I was thankful that the men in here had just left. Or else I would be in big trouble. So I run in, and go out into the hanger. ‘It’s so big, where is the exit?’ there was none that I could see, but there were many boxes. That provided a maze, and some cover. I found the exit. Then saw my partner. “Oh good, there you are. Come on, I found the exit.” I say. Then he said “I’ve found my own way out. An easier one, it’s a path that will make them stop chasing me.” I looked at him in confusion. “What are you talking about?” He chuckles and it made me more confused. He looks up and tells me. “They say that if you’re out of the picture. Then they’ll stop bugging me.” I gave him a dumbfounded look. He wasn’t the man I once knew. And I know what he meant. He wanted to risk me to stop being bugged. “HOW DARE YOU!?!” I yelled “I swear I am going to…” He interrupted me. “Your going to do what, I know that you don’t have the guts to lay a single finger on me.” He was right, but apparently he did have the guts.

I shot up and started breathing heavily. She knew that I had remembered more, so she asked me. “What did you remember?” I told her. “I didn’t swear to do anything. He interrupted me while I was talking, telling me that I didn’t have the guts to lay a finger on him. He was right, I was weak.” She asked me. “Do you believe that it was you who was weak? You had just lost your friend to the enemy. Who agreed to kill you for selfish reasons? It wasn’t you that was weak. It was him.” She was right. I was stronger. But he pierced my heart that it made me to weak. I’m now surprised that I made it out alive. “There is still more, I know it.” I said. She was nodding. “Now go home, call me if you need anything.” So I thanked her. And I was on my way.
