Kinda a performance piece. Two lovers and a girl, kinda amusing. Please rate/review.
He was my uptown lover who’d smother
Me in his desires and hopes and dreams -
Until he found out about my green eyed boy
Who was ever such a charming and lovely toy.

My lover was jealous of another.
And I lied oh so carefully to cover the tracks
That my green eyed boy left on my skin.

In candle light, under the sun when it’s so bright,
I held them both to me in my arms.
Wrapped them both up in the charms that
I possessed because I could never rest
With just one lone lover to satisfy me.

I needed more but never did they
Touch my core, the part that I kept away
I locked it in a gilded cage
Like a boat in harbors docked
Away from the stormy seas of his green eyes -
The luscious lips and the beautiful lies

One called me darling and one called me whore.
If I were with just one it’d be such a bore
So I kept them both and kept them secret, shh!
Never loved them, but I’d speak it.

My uptown lover and my green eyed boy,
One was so confident and one would play coy
I’d mark them both and make them believe
That I’d never conceive a thought of being with another

Careful with one and pain ridden with the other.
What a beautiful pair they made,
My green eyed boy and my uptown lover.
