Evil's Desire

Life all around
flowers grace the ground
joy cascading
until now evading
the dark that soon surrounds

menacing and grand
extends an evil hand
sets the world ablaze
into a fiery haze
devastating this land

Cries of despair
Prayers fill the air
Assists the harmful debris
replete with glee
at the agony they bear

Cruel and hateful death
There is nothing left
watching the blood-red skies
Tears leak from their eyes
Drawing their last breath

A monument of sin
A satisfied grin
Deed forever cherished
All life has perished
Time comes to an end

Shadows will be found
Silence a calming sound
Soft tremble fading
Helplessly into ending
Darkness full and bound
