in the moonlight i felt you next to me.

was it the wind that played gently with my ear,
telling me secrets,
or was that your breath,
whispering you'll always love me?

i could see the rain fall sadly around me,
but all i could feel was you tears,
fighting for one last moment to say good-bye,

but now,

its my turn to say what is in my heart

could you ever forgive me
