a sense-descripitive fun poem
I open the clasp that holds my paint box tight;
I hear the lid softly creak open,
and as I lift the lid what I saw was astonishing.

I open my paint box,
and I could hear the sqwawking caws of the rainbowed toucans;
with their large yellow becks,
pecking into the ripe mangoes they so eagerly desired.
I could see the swinging spider monkeys,
munching the crimson berries that the lush
forest had provided for them.
I could feel the hushing sound of the wind
swirling throughout the emerald forest.
I opened my paint box
and I could smell the aromas
of the sweet kiwi and lushes pineapple.
I could smell that warm dampness of the forest
that was sticky and wet.
I could see all of the happenings of the jungle,
jaguars stalking their prey,
or even the highlighted colored birds singing.
I enjoyed listening to the jungle's song.
and at night the jungle was very much awake,
and very much alive.

Then my eyesight started to blur,
my hearing had deafened,
it was then that I realized my paint box had closed.
